Raine & Horne Foundation and Fire Halo™ join forces to shield Aussie properties during bushfire season

December 15, 2023

The Raine & Horne Foundation is thrilled to announce a partnership with Fire Halo™, a pioneering Australian-owned company specialising in innovative products designed to safeguard homes from bushfires.

Exclusive to Raine & Horne, Fire Halo™ is offering a generous 25% discount on all products[i] for offices and clients of the real estate super brand including landlords across all of their products.

Mr Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne, expressed, “With each purchase of Fire Halo™’s very affordable products through the Raine & Horne network, the Raine & Horne Foundation pledges to donate $10 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief & Recovery Fund.

“This fund was instrumental in aiding thousands of individuals during the catastrophic 2019-2020 bushfire season, and through our partnership with Fire Halo™ we aim to make a difference.”

Mr Raine affirmed that the Raine & Horne Foundation, having raised more than $600,000 for a range of community and environmental causes in the past two years, continues its dedicated support for diverse community initiatives.

“The partnership with Fire Halo™ is aimed at reinforcing Australian properties against the risk of bushfires through the use of an ingenious protective device that will set property owners back as little as $108.90,” Mr Raine said.

“As part of our partnership, our offices have access to exclusive discounts on Fire Halo™ products which they can provide to their clients and community or purchase themselves to offer as settlement gifts for buyers and for landlords.”

Mr Raine continued, “Our partnership with Fire Halo™ is designed not only to raise awareness about bushfires but also to offer an excellent risk minimisation tool which mitigates the potential for a distressing repetition of the tragic events of four summers ago.”

What is Fire Halo™?

Featured recently on Shark Tank Australia, Fire Halo™ has introduced groundbreaking products that connect to downpipes or water tank feeder pipes, utilising the primary water supply to flood the rooftop guttering system to help protect a property from the dangers caused by rogue fire embers.

Ember entry and associated spot fires are responsible for 75-80%[ii] of homes destroyed by bushfires. Fire Halo™ products present a crucial solution that could potentially save countless Australian homes.

“The proactive approach used by Fire Halo™ products saturates debris, and significantly reduces the potential for embers to ignite dry leaves and vegetation,” Mr Raine said.
